Discovering hidden parts of Westchester!
What a fantastic afternoon for a hike. Today we headed south to Dobbs Ferry and to Halsey Pond. If you haven't been there and live in the area, you really must check it out. It is the most amazing place, nestled in a beautiful residential neighborhood close to Mercy College. The castle like structure is Beltzhoover Tea House which is the largest remaining structure of the Beltzhoover Estate, built in 1905. It overlooks Halsey Pond and the trail we took today which circles the pond. We can only imagine what the main house must have been like!

Sweltering Soccer Game
Wow, it is hot today. 87degrees and it is 4:30pm. What happened to Spring? Feels like summer is here already. Probably just for a few days though!!
Cameron's soccer team, The Crocodiles, were troupers today and despite the heat played superbly. Of course it has a great deal to do with the fantastic coaches, Craig and Rob. Well done Crocs. Lets hope this winning streak (two weeks in a row) continues through the season.

Michael's Bowling Party
This afternoon I had the pleasure of capturing Michael, his cousins and friends celebrating his 8th birthday party at White Plains Bowling Alley. The children had a fabulous time and were not bothered by the short interruption and evacuation of the building due to a visit from the Elmsford FD!!! They took the time to enjoy their pizza and hang out for a while.

Debbie Allan Photography - Beautiful family pictures
We are thrilled that Debbie photographed our daughter’s 4th birthday party. Debbie's attention to detail accompanied by her artistic touch provided us with wonderful pictures of every aspect of the party. We now have lasting memories of the decorations, the activities, the guests and most importantly of our daughter turning 4.
Debbie has an awesome ability to capture children in all their beauty. The close-ups that Debbie takes capture the essence of our children. We used a beautiful candid shot that Debbie took of our children for our holiday card this past year and received endless compliments. Four months later we still have the card displayed. We look forward to engaging Debbie’s services again in the near future.
